An Allston project that includes a 12-story office building and a seven-story residential building across the street has secured a city building permit.
The project, which will be visible from the Massachusetts Turnpike, is near the Boston Landing MBTA commuter rail station. It’s the latest in a series of planned and proposed projects for a largely industrial stretch of Allston.
Construction is slated to start this month on the project’s residential building at 59 Everett St., according to Pennrose, a Philadelphia development company that’s building the residential building with Marblehead-based Bracken Development. The building includes 88 units.
