Massachusetts ranks second-worst in homebuilding and affordability, scoring an F in Realtor.com’s report due to high prices and low housing production.
Massachusetts scored an F, and had the second-worst total ranking of any state, in a new homebuilding and affordability report.
Realtor.com gave seven states a failing grade, including two other New England states in Connecticut and Rhode Island, due to what it said are a combination of high prices and low housing production.
