Surveys by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce and Massachusetts Business Roundtable show most employers have settled into hybrid schedules — with no further changes expected.

“It feels like they’ve figured it out,” Roundtable president JD Chesloff said. “They’re settling in on their policy, which is predominantly hybrid.”

It’s a different story in Manhattan, where office visits in July surpassed prepandemic levels for the first time, according to foot traffic data analyzed by Placer.ai. New York was the first to reach that milestone. Miami is close behind. In Boston, however, office visits remained down 30 percent from July 2019.
