    Multifamily investment activity in Boston continued at a steady pace in the second quarter with total sales volume reaching nearly $900 million. The second quarter’s $896 million in apartment sales was slightly below second-quarter activity in 2024, which amounted to $991 million in closed deals.However, combined with the strong first-quarter activity, the first half of the year saw $1.8 billion in Boston-area apartments change hands, well ahead of the apartment sales mark for the first half of 2024, which amounted to $1.5 billion.
